The Víctor Grífols i Lucas Foundation was created in 1998 with the mission of promoting bioethics through dialogue between specialists in a range of areas. The Foundation seeks to foster ethical attitudes in organisations, companies and individuals active in the field of human health. One of the objectives of the Foundation is to promote study and research in specific areas of bioethics by awarding grants and prizes. There are four different sets of awards: (1) research grants (up to €5,000 on any issue related to bioethics and its practical application); (2) secondary school prizes; (3) ethics and science prizes (for educational institutions in Spain); and (4) audiovisual prizes (up to €5,000).

While most of their grant programs are directed to students/researchers/projects in Spain (Catalonia), they also provide some international grants.
4) Application Procedure
There are annual application windows open for each of their programs. Application guidelines can be read on their website. Applications are all done online.
