Description
1) Objective
The goal of the Future For Nature Foundation is the protection of species of wild animals and plants and the conservation of nature in general. Our hopes for the future lie with young conservationists. Future For Nature aims to stimulate a new generation of nature conservation leaders by providing support to new generations of wildlife champions. They highlight and fund their work through the annual Future For Nature Awards. Winning the Award – and even being nominated – has proved to be an incentive for sponsorships and other forms of support.
In addition, they stimulate educational, fundraising and other activities centred on the work of the Award winners and nominees. The new round for the 2023 Future For Nature Awards is open now. Invited are young (under 35 years old), talented and inspiring conservationists, committed to protecting species of wild animals and plants by combining passion with action to create concrete results in nature conservation.
2) Eligibility
Individuals under 35 years old are eligible to apply.
3) Location
Actions can take place worldwide.
4) Budget
The winners each receive €50,000 and the prestigious FFN Award. The winners may spend the money at their own discretion in the service of nature conservation; after all, they know better than anyone where the money is most needed. Additionally, Future For Nature offers much more than one-off financial support.
5) Application
Applicants are done online. The deadline is August 23, 2024 at 23:59 (CEST).
