Description
1) Objective
Aligned with UNSDG 5.2, UNHCR is committed to safeguarding the safety, health, and access to justice for survivors of violence—recognizing this as a life-saving priority for refugee populations—through coordinated efforts with relevant government entities and partner organizations. UNHCR aims to prioritise two areas:
- 1) reducing the risk of GBV in refugee communities through prevention and risk mitigation programmes,
- and 2) ensuring all survivors of GBV have timely and adequate access to quality services that meet their needs. With the high number of persons affected by or are at risk of GBV, UNHCR is seeking existing and/or new partners with experience to deliver specialised GBV services and programmes in one or more states across Peninsular Malaysia.
