Description
1) Objective
The objective of this call for proposals is to support innovative community projects in The Bahamas aimed at developing and implementing drug and vulnerability-related policies within the COPOLAD III Programme. Managed by IILA and FIIAPP, the programme seeks to enhance collaboration with Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to address drug-related challenges. Through this initiative, the programme aims to foster the development of effective policies and interventions to mitigate the impact of drugs on communities and promote social inclusion and well-being.
2) Eligibility
Eligible applicants must be legal entities, non-profit-making, and formally established in The Bahamas. They should demonstrate direct responsibility for project preparation and management, along with economic-financial and technical implementation capacity. Applicants must have an average annual income volume exceeding the maximum budget of the call and a track record of executing projects related to drug policy activities in the last five years.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Bahamas.
4) Budget
The grant funding available for selected projects ranges from a minimum of €25,000 to a maximum of €45,000, covering all expenses. The budget aims to support the implementation of community projects over a period of up to six months, with a possibility of extension.
5) Application
Interested organizations can download the required annexes from the IILA website and submit their proposals by express courier to the specified address in Rome, Italy. The deadline for submission is 20th May 2024. Applications must include a technical proposal, budget, organizational documents, and information questionnaire.
