Description
1) Objective
The purpose of the Children, Adolescents (their Families) and Young Women in the HIV Epidemic (CAFYW) Project, named
Ana ndi Achinyamata Patsogolo (ANAPA) is to prevent new HIV infections, achieve the 95-95- 95 goals and reach and sustain epidemic control. The Project will do this by: ensuring equitable access to and use of health/HIV and social services among children, adolescents (their families) and young women affected by HIV.
The project will incorporate a direct award to local partners as per PEPFAR definition that includes regional organizations. Regional Organizations will be expected to partner with indigenous Malawi organizations. Subject to availability of funds, the total estimated amount to be awarded is $60 million for the five-year period.
2) Eligibility
Eligibility for this NOFO is restricted to local (Malawian) and Regional (Southern African Development Community – SADC) organizations. Applications from organizations that have not previously received financial assistance from USAID are welcome if the Applicant determines that it has necessary capacity to implement projects of the magnitude such as this one.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Malawi.
4) Budget
Grants may range up to $60,000,000. They want to fund one award.
5) Application
All applications must be submitted before 22 June 2023. All prime organizations, whether based in the United States or in another country, must have a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), formerly referred to as DUNS, and an active registration with the SAM.gov before submitting an application. Additionally, a NCAGE number is required.
