Description
1) Objective
The U.S. Consulate General in Ciudad Juarez PDS invites proposals for programs that strengthen cultural ties and mutual understanding between the U.S. and Mexico in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico through cultural, economic, educational, professional, and exchange programming that highlights shared values and promotes bilateral cooperation. All programs must include a U.S. cultural element, or connection with U.S. expert/s, organization/s, or institution/s in a specific field that will promote increased understanding of U.S. policies and perspectives. All proposals must state clearly the inclusion of American content. American content can include speakers who are experts in U.S. policy, academia, information, or economics; the use of U.S. training models or materials; exchanges with U.S. institutions; or promotion of U.S. best practices, culture and resources. Programs that include multiple cities and/or promote increased collaboration and networking between USG program alumni are encouraged.

2) Eligibility
U.S. and Mexican individuals, registered not-for-profit organizations, educational institutions, and governmental bodies are eligible. For-profit entities are ineligible. U.S. organizations must partner with a Mexican counterpart. Cost sharing is preferred but not mandatory.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Mexico.
4) Budget
The estimated total program funding is $100,000, with individual awards ranging from $10,000 to $50,000.
5) Application
Proposals must be submitted by May 31, 2024, adhering to guidelines outlined in the Annual Program Statement.
