Description
1) Objective
The U.S. Embassy in Dakar, Senegal, announces an open competition for organizations to submit applications under the 2024 Trans-Sahara Counterterrorism Partnership (TSCTP)/CVE Program for Women Leading Peace in West Africa. Proposals funded under this announcement should seek to carry out a program to build the capacity of Bajenu Gox members (neighborhood godmothers-English translation) to counter violent extremism (CVE) in local communities along the eastern border regions of Senegal.
2) Eligibility
Eligible applicants include not-for-profit organizations, public and private educational institutions, think tanks, civil society/non-governmental organizations, and public international organizations.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Senegal.
4) Budget
The estimated total program funding is $250,000, with individual awards set at $250,000.
5) Application
