Description
1) Objective
The #BeInclusive EU sport Awards 2022 (hereafter referred to as the ‘Awards’) aim to reward and give visibility to the best projects that have successfully supported inclusion through sport. Projects can include disadvantaged, marginalized or underprivileged groups such as individuals with difficult social, economic or educational backgrounds, people with a disability, health problems or cultural differences, etc. This #BeInclusive EU sport Awards will also support gender equality. It will also contribute to Peace through the integration of migrants and refugees.
Scope: To reward sport projects that promote inclusion, dialogue and tolerance, emphasizing the benefits of understanding each other and overcoming obstacles to participation. This category would reward initiatives that support disadvantaged groups, such as ethnic minorities, people with disabilities or vulnerable young people, to meet social challenges.
2) Eligibility
Eligibility is limited to any organisation or public authority (individuals are not eligible) which has successfully developed a sport project aimed at social inclusion, carried out in the EU Member States or third countries associated to the programme.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Europe.
4) Budget
The total prize budget is 45,000€. Each of the three categories will award 15,000€ with 10,000€ to the winner and 2,500€ to the two finalists(ranked 2nd and 3rd) (hereafter “the winners”).
5) Application
The application deadline is 29 September 2022. A full proposal must be submitted online.
