Description
1) Objective
The Egis Foundation is issuing a call for projects aimed at addressing climate change through impactful initiatives worldwide. Projects selected will focus on either reducing greenhouse gas emissions or adapting populations and territories to climate change effects. Emphasizing a systemic approach, the Foundation seeks proposals that not only combat climate change but also address broader societal objectives, such as biodiversity conservation, local employment support, and professional training.
Special attention will be given to projects benefiting vulnerable populations, ensuring their active involvement while respecting their dignity. With a commitment to long-term partnerships, the Foundation aims to support projects that demonstrate innovative and sustainable solutions to climate-related challenges, fostering resilience and sustainability in communities around the globe.
2) Eligibility
NGOs and non-profit organizations are eligible to apply. Projects must be carried out internationally, excluding France.
3) Location
Actions can take place worldwide.
4) Budget
The Foundation will award 2 to 3 projects with funding ranging from €40,000 to €80,000 each. The financial support will be disbursed in 2 or 3 installments over a period of 2 to 3 years.
5) Application
Interested organizations should create an account on the Egis Impact Hub platform and register for the Call for Projects 2024. The application process involves completing an expression of interest form, submitting required documents, and addressing a series of questions. Selected applicants will proceed to subsequent interview rounds for further evaluation. The deadline is 10 June 2024.
