Description
1) Objective
The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Hanoi announces a call for proposals of the small local projects, which could be supported by a financial contribution within the framework of the Czech Republic development cooperation. All interested organisations are invited to submit their proposals by 27 September 2024. There is no thematic or geographical limitation to the project proposals, but they should align with the development cooperation priorities of the Czech Republic.
Small-scale development projects aim to provide targeted support to local entities for smaller development activities. These activities may include providing equipment or materials, conducting training, supporting local institutions, or contributing to a specific part of a larger project. A key condition for these projects is sustainability, ensuring that the project can continue operating in the future without the need for ongoing financial support.
2) Eligibility
Funds are allocated to non-political and non-governmental group only.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Vietnam.
4) Budget
The Czech financial contribution for the project is 200,000 CZK – 500,000 CZK, which is approx. ($8,000 – $20,000 depending on the current exchange rate). Co-financing from other sources is optional but desirable. The total cost of salary/fee, subsistence allowance, accommodation, travel cost and eventual insurance and vaccination of the experts must not exceed 25 % of the project´s total costs.
5) Application
Please send the completed identification form and the two attachments (proof that the representative is authorized to act on behalf of the entity, proof of the organization’s legal subjectivity, no other attachments needed) as scans to Hanoi.Commerce@mzv.gov.cz with email subject: “Name of your organization – SMALL SCALE PROJECT APPLICATION 2025 VIETNAM ” by 27 September 2024. It is also required to submit original documentation by post to the Embassy by this date.
