Description
1) Objective
The Resilience Fund for Women in Global Value Chains is welcoming applications from eligible organizations in Cambodia and Vietnam. The Fund will provide general support grants to women-led, community-based organizations that work on the Fund’s main thematic areas of gender-based violence and/or sexual and reproductive health and rights.
The Fund provides general-support funding for operational and/or programmatic expenses, to grassroots, women and non-binary led organizations. Fund grantee-partners can use the money in ways it believes is most effective for strengthening its organizational capacity and the scope and effectiveness of its activities or programs. This means that funds may be used to address any organizational need, including (but not limited to) IT and communications systems, financial and data management, and staff capacity building, as well as to provide support for existing services or programs, to develop new approaches or to build partnerships or coalitions.
2) Eligibility
The Fund will make direct grants in 2022 to women-led, community-based organizations in Cambodia and Vietnam that have sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and/or gender-based violence (GBV)/women’s safety and security as key components of their overall programming or activities. Eligible organizations may focus on other areas of concern to women, but they must also address SRHR or GBV, which are essential to women’s economic wellbeing and ability to participate and thrive in the workforce.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Cambodia and Vietnam.
4) Budget
The grant amount available per organization is between $10,000 and $75,000 USD total over 2 years.
5) Application
The application is due September 16, 2022.
