Description
1) Objective
The main objectives of the CSPM are:
1. Delivery of tangible community identified Quick Impact Projects (QIPs) which will be handed over to the community.
2. Increased access to essential basic services and livelihood opportunities for target communities.
3. Sustainable socio-economic (re)integration, peaceful coexistence, and local economic development.
Types of projects that can be supported:
1. Community level projects (no individual projects).
2. Projects supporting essential service delivery.
3. Projects strengthening livelihoods at community/association level.
4. Projects in any sector including livelihoods, WASH, health, education, protection, environment, natural resource management, community infrastructure, and others.
The selected partner will be expected to establish network with the communities and to carry out identification of appropriate community support projects in consultation with the beneficiaries. The CSPM applies a holistic, participatory, community-driven bottom-up approach targeting refugee, returnee or IDP hosting communities simultaneously.
2) Eligibility
Eligibility is limited to NGOs that have country and sector experience.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Sudan.
4) Budget
The grant size is not mentioned.
5) Application
The application deadline is 22 October 2023. A concept note must be submitted online via the application portal. The applications should be submitted through UNPP if not it will not be considered. CSOs wishing to participate in this Call for Expression of Interest must submit Electronic Concept Note (online) using United Nations Partner Portal (UNPP).
