Cross-border programme Kosovo – North Macedonia under IPA III

Description

1) Objective

In line with the objectives specified in the programme document, the overall objective (OO) of this call for proposals is: To promote good neighbourly relations, foster Union integration and strengthen the social, economic and territorial development of the programme cross-border area by improving environment protection, and preservation of resources, and competitiveness and business development.

As a result of a decision made by the JMC of the programme on 14 February 2024, two thematic priorities of the programme document are selected for this call:

• Thematic Priority 2 – Environmental protection, climate change adaptation and mitigation, risk prevention and management
• Thematic Priority 8 – Competitiveness, business environment and SME development, trade and investment

2) Eligibility

In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must: (1) be a legal person and (2) be a specific type of organisation such as: government units, national parks, ministries and national agencies, agencies for local and/or regional development, civil society organisations, etc. and (3) be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.

3) Location

Actions can take place in Kosovo and North Macedonia.

4) Budget

The overall indicative amount made available under this call for proposals is €3,240,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum €150,000 and maximum €700,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum (60%) and maximum (85%) percentage of total eligible costs of the action.

5) Application

The concept note together with the declaration by the lead applicant must be submitted online via PROSPECT. The deadline for the submission is 9 December 2024.
