Description
1) Objective
MRG invites proposals from Egyptian organizations and initiatives to design and implement cultural advocacy projects that amplify the voices and lived experiences of religious, ethnic, and gender minorities, support inclusive narratives, that raise awareness and influence public discourse. Projects should have a creative expression element, call for change to a real issue, use safe and ethical approaches, and be accessible to diverse audiences.
This initiative encourages collaboration between diverse organizations and individuals to amplify underrepresented and marginalized voices. Successful applicants will benefit from mentorship, expert feedback, and potential funding opportunities.
2) Eligibility
For your application to be considered, the applicant must meet the following requirements: Organizations, community‑based groups, initiatives, collectives, working on culture including but not limited to: music, theatre, film, stage arts, cultural heritage, media and creative industries that are based in Egypt.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Egypt.
4) Budget
The amount available is €7,000 for organisations and €4,000 for initiatives and small groups.
5) Application
Deadline for submission: 20 December 2025. Late submissions will not be considered.
