Description
1) Objective
Culture Moves Europe’s second call supports legal entities hosting up to 5 international artists and cultural professionals for residencies between 22 to 300 days. It encourages exploration, creation, learning, networking, and societal transformation aligned with New European Bauhaus values. The call empowers hosts to provide a conducive environment for creative projects, fostering cultural exchanges and professional development.
2) Eligibility
Eligible applicants include organizations and artists registered as legal entities in one of the 40 Creative Europe countries. They must provide suitable premises, equipment, and mentorship for international participants, ensuring effective project implementation.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Europe and Tunisia.
4) Budget
Grants consist of a hosting allowance (€35 per participant per day) and individual allowances for participants, including daily allowances (€25 per day), travel allowances (up to €700 for round trips over 5,000 km), and additional top-ups for environmental considerations, remote locations, visa expenses, family support, and disability needs.
5) Application
Applications are open from October 16, 2023, to January 16, 2024, and are processed through the Goethe-Application Portal. The process includes two phases: selection of hosts and then artists/cultural professionals by the hosts. All processes are conducted in English, but applicants can use translation tools. Post-project, a report summarizing outcomes and implementation proof is required.
