Description
1) Objective
With millions of people internally displaced or living in damaged or largely destroyed homes, access to safe and dignified housing is one of the priorities of people affected by the war. With the sudden loss of homes, assets, and livelihoods, the Shelter and NFI Cluster (SNFI) estimates that 2.6 million people in Ukraine need somewhere to live as they cannot return to their former homes or need assistance for repairs of their damaged homes, to make them habitable again.
Expected results are:
- Provision of emergency shelter, durable housing for conflict-affected and returnees, and adequate accommodation for IDPs in Ukraine.
- Outcome Area 9: Sustainable Housing and Settlements:
- Output 1: Support conflict affected populations with immediate shelter needs
- Output 2: Support conflict-affected and returnee populations with durable housing
- Output 3: Support internally displaced persons with the improvement and creation of new accommodation
2) Eligibility
Applicants must have expertise and experience in the sector/type of service/geographic area; Management, financial capacity, and experience working with UN/UNICEF.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Ukraine.
