Description
1) Objective
Expected Results are:
- Adverse impacts of economic disruptions, gender inequality, and shocks on the welfare and livelihood of vulnerable people are eased.
- Food insecure women and men receive cash or food transfers to meet the basic food and nutrition needs of their households through asset creation activities.
- Community members benefit from creation and rehabilitation of assets in order to improve resilience against climate change impacts and disaster-related risks and to enhance livelihoods.
- Smallholder farmers receive technical advisory services such as sustainable climate-smart agriculture practices, improved adaption of agro-forestry practices in high deforestation areas, agriculture training for women, etc. to help them adapt to the impacts of climate changes and/or climate-induced hazards.
- Community members benefit from health and nutrition education to improve nutrition knowledge.
- Improved financial literacy of the community members to manage their household income effectively.

Applicants must have previous partnerships with UNICEF / other UN agencies.

Actions must take place in Myanmar.
