Description
1) Objective
The global objective of this call for proposals is to support municipalities’ development potential and improve environmental and socio-economic conditions in local communities.
The specific objectives of this call for proposals are:
• To enhance the quality of municipal infrastructure, enabling the delivery of high-standard public services, and to stimulate local economic development.
• To assist municipalities in achieving their strategic development goals and implementing strategic plans, including optimising the absorption of EU funds and ensuring alignment with EU standards.
2) Eligibility
In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must: (1) be a legal person and (2) be a specific type of organisation such as: non-governmental organisation and/or association of sub-national (regional or local) authorities and (3) be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.
3) Location
Actions can take place in Montenegro.
4) Budget
The overall indicative amount made available under this call for proposals is €2,000,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum €2,000,000 and maximum €2,000,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum (70%) and maximum (95%) percentage of total eligible costs of the action.
5) Application
The full application together with the declaration by the lead applicant must be submitted online via PROSPECT. The deadline for the submission is 11 July 2025.
