Description
1) Objective
The global objective of this call for proposals is to strengthen the resilience, role and capacities of civil society and media in advancing participatory democracy and social progress along with the EU integration and approximation agenda in Kosovo.
The specific objectives of the call are:
(i) Support civil society participation, activism and influence in key sectors / cross-sectoral reforms, local development and social inclusion processes.
(ii) Support media resilience, pluralism, media literacy and improved access to information particularly for vulnerable groups.
The call for proposals is divided under 5 Lots:
- Lot 1: Civil society resilience and sustainability
- Lot 2: Local governance, development and activism
- Lot 3: Kosovo national resource centre, phase III
- Lot 4: Thematic coalitions and networks
- Lot 5: Media resilience and pluralism, media literacy, and improved access to information
2) Eligibility
In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must: (1) be a legal person and (2) be non-profit-making and (3) be a civil society organisation and (4) be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Kosovo.
4) Budget
The overall indicative amount made available under this call for proposals is €4,420,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum €250,000 and maximum €500,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum (60%) and maximum (95%) percentage of total eligible costs of the action.
5) Application
The concept note together with the declaration by the lead applicant must be submitted online via PROSPECT. The deadline for the submission is 6 February 2024.
