Description
1) Objective
UNICEF Egypt seeks an implementing partner to provide refugee, asylum-seeker, migrant, and host community children with access to specialized and non-specialized child protection services. These services will be delivered through family clubs established in primary health care units in coordination with the Ministry of Health and Population (MOHP), as well as through child-friendly spaces, mobile teams, and specialized child protection service centers across 10 governorates. Additional support will also be provided to unaccompanied and separated children who moved irregularly in Aswan and the Red Sea governorates.
Expected results are:
- Enhanced capacities of targeted family clubs within MOHP’s primary health units to provide non-specialized services to children and caregivers from refugee and host communities.
- Strengthened capacities of specialized service centers to deliver integrated, quality case management and specialized child protection services for refugee and host children.
- Distribution and utilization of winterization kits for vulnerable children in targeted governorates.
- Provision of humanitarian assistance to unaccompanied and separated children (UASC) in humanitarian contexts.
