The Foundation Temperatio supports projects with a programmatic focus on (1) ecology, (2) the social sector, and (3) culture. In the area of ecology, the Foundation funds projects that are concerned with biodiversity, landscape protection, and the sustainable use of natural resources. Small, locally managed projects are of particular interest to the Foundation. In the social area, the Foundation is particularly interested to fund long-term projects that secure human rights, peace and democracy. Again, small and local initiatives are preferred to large international projects.
Non-profit organisations that share the same focus areas with the Foundation Temperatio are eligible to apply.
Actions can take place worldwide.
No minimum and maximum budget limits are specified for this funding opportunity. Applicants are encouraged to provide a detailed budget and finance plan.
The Foundation particularly addresses smaller organisations and supports them with project funding in their start-up phase. Applications can be sent throughout the year and the application template can be downloaded from their website. Applications must be sent by email to temperatio(a)temperatio.ch.
