Description
1) Objective
Chemonics is an international development company and their main objective is to promote social and economic change around the world. They have been working in over 150 countries worldwide across many different sectors. They implement projects in the areas of: agriculture and food security, democracy and governance, economic growth and trade, education and youth, environment and natural resources, gender equality and social inclusion, health, urban development and energy as well as water, energy, and sustainable cities.
They are continuously looking for local partners as they often draw on local partners who have a niche specialization in a particular technical area or geographic region. They are also interested in forming partnership with international non-profits.
2) Eligibility
Businesses and non-profit organisations (local and international) are eligible to apply.
3) Location
They operate across Africa, Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe.
4) Budget
The budget amounts vary with each partnership depending on the type of organisation and need of the project.
5) Application
Chemonics endeavors to work with organisations that share the same passion for making a positive impact on the communities they serve, including non-profits, for-profits and educational institutions. Local and international organisations often have rich experience working directly in the poorest communities to further the social, environmental, and economic goals of the people, especially women. Chemonics is therefore always looking for non-profit and for profit partners. Interested applicants can register their profiles via their online system on their website anytime throughout the year.
