Description
1) Objective
The U.S. Embassy Kingston Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the U.S. Department of State is pleased to announce that funding is available through its Public Diplomacy Grants Program. This Annual Program Statement outlines our funding priorities, strategic themes, and the procedures for submitting requests for funding.
The FY24 Annual Call for Proposals will cover various funding activity categories which include:
• Climate, Environment, and Energy
• Combating Financial Scamming and Other Criminal Activity
• Programs for At-Risk Youth
• Economic Prosperity
• Global Health
• Gender Issues, and
• Human Rights and Democracy
2) Eligibility
Eligible applicants include registered not-for-profit organizations (like think tanks, community-based organizations, civil society/non-governmental organizations with program/project management experience), individuals, U.S. exchange alumni, non-profit or governmental educational institutions, and governmental institutions.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Jamaica.
4) Budget
The estimated total program funding is $250,000, with individual awards ranging from a minimum of $10,000 to a maximum of $25,000.
