Description

1) Objective

The Cold Noses Foundation’s mission is to prevent animal suffering around the world by funding life-saving veterinary care, outreach and emergency relief programs. The Foundation provides grant support with a focus on small, but effective organisations around the world, allowing them to provide critically needed funds to those organisations who are doing excellent work in their communities. Their programmatic focus areas are: (1) veterinary care (including medical programs); (2) community outreach (with a focus on primarily education and ways to strengthen the animal/human bond); and (3) emergency relief (providing emergency funding for animals when natural disaster strikes). CNF will only provide funding for programs that fall into one of the following categories: Medical Care, Community Outreach and Longterm Projects.

Cold Noses Foundations favors proposals that: (1) are in locations of the world where animal welfare is at a critical or urgent need of help; (2) reach out to the local community; (3) are fiscally sound and logical; (4) have measurable outcomes; (5) reach multiple animals; and (6) have sustainable characteristics.

2) Eligibility

Eligible applicants are U.S organisations registered as 501(C)(3) non-profits (non-US organisations may be 501c3 equivalent, which will be determined on a case-by-case basis). Eligible organisations seeking grants from Cold Noses Foundation should be prepared to track and report expected and actual expenses with proper receipt documentation submitted online in the report form. Organisations reporting an income over $200,000 in the last fiscal year are not eligible.

3) Location
