Description
1) Objective
This call has two lots:
- Lot 1: The overall objective of this lot is to contribute to justice through increased accountability for gender-based violations.
This lot has the following specific objective(s): to fight against the impunity enjoyed by actors of acts of gender-based violence, while taking into account the principle of “do no harm” (do no harm). - Lot 2: The general objective of this lot is to build the capacities of Guinean CSOs so that they can engage in political dialogue at the national level and in the implementation and monitoring of development plans and programs. This lot has the specific objective of creating funding opportunities for CSO projects accompanied by the strengthening of their capacities, in particular those essential to manage these funds in an appropriate manner.
2) Eligibility
In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must: (1) be a legal person and (2) be non-profit-making and (3) be a civil society organisation; and (4) be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Republic of Guinea.
4) Budget
The overall indicative amount made available under this call for proposals is €2,850,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum €1,250,000 and maximum €2,500,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum (80%) and maximum (95%) percentage of total eligible costs of the action.
5) Application
The full application together with the declaration by the lead applicant must be submitted online via PROSPECT. The deadline for the submission is 4 September 2023.
