Description
1) Objective
- 1. Provision of safe water to emergency affected people in the affected regions: Prospective CSOs contributing to this programming area are expected to save the life of people by rapidly delivering water to affected areas during humanitarian crises to prevent further suffering as a temporary solution such as during drought periods, natural disasters, or infrastructure failures.
- 2. Provision of life saving and durable WASH services to emergency affected people in IDPs camps and communities: Prospective CSOs contributing to this programming area are expected to improve access to lifesaving and climate resilient water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services for people affected by emergencies through the provision of safe drinking water, constructing toilets, and promoting hygiene practices.
- 3. Provision of sanitation services to emergency affected people: Prospective CSOs contributing to this programming area are expected to improve access to sanitation services to minimize the health risks associated with poor sanitation in emergency situations by providing safe sanitation facilities to all affected people by undertaking appropriate behavior change interventions on the use of WASH services and products.
- 4. Hygiene promotion to emergency affected people
- 5. Provision of WASH services to host communities: Prospective CSOs contributing to this programming area are expected to ensure improved access to safe drinking water, adequate sanitation facilities, and promoting hygiene practices.
