Description
1) Objective
The Transatlantic Foundation (TF), in cooperation with the Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation of the German Marshall Fund of the United States (BST), is launching a dedicated call for proposals for influencers, active citizens and small initiatives aimed at piloting new communication and outreach messaging for raising public awareness and understanding of the benefits of Moldova’s EU integration. This initiative complements our program (Increasing Public resilience to disinformation and EU positive awareness (INCRES)) by providing opportunities for local civic actors, young leaders, informal groups representatives to actively engage in a public campaign promoting European values.
Call objectives are:
- Test innovative and multilingual formats, narratives and messaging promoting the benefits of EU integration and European values.
- Increase the visibility and positive impact of projects supported by the European Union.
- Promote opportunities provided by the European Union and EU members states.
- Encourage open discussions and debates about the benefits of Moldova’s EU integration processes and address citizens’ fears related to EU accession.
- Build social cohesion around EU integration and citizen engagement in the processes related to Moldova’s EU integration.
- Support wider campaigns and actions conducted at local and national levels in support of European Union values and development model
2) Eligibility
Eligible are citizens, youth, informal groups, civic actors, CSO representatives (including leaders, staff, volunteers, civic activists), influencers, opinion leaders, bloggers, vloggers, etc.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Moldova.
4) Budget
The Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation (BST) will award 10 grants over the course of the next five months, of maximum 2,510 EUR each, to enable Moldovan citizens and civic groups to directly promote and support Moldova’s European integration and European values.
5) Application
