Description
1) Objective
Outcome statement: Community mobilization strengthened and expanded through the establishment of trained community workers and the expansion of outreach centres /mobile community outreach services, including for women.
Main Activities: The key objective of the outreach and community centre is to provide basic services and accurate information to persons of concern in a timely manner. The basic services offered at the centre will include social welfare services for holistic case management support to address protection concerns, including gender-based violence and child protection issues. Information dissemination will be strengthened through the training of outreach volunteers across different parts of Johor to ensure communities are able to access information to help them navigate the protection environment in their respective locations. Further, the selected partner will be expected to raise awareness, as well as engage with children, family, communities, and relevant stakeholders to protect children and those affected by or who are at risk of gender-based violence.
