Description
1) Objective
The Khilo Aur Barho programme, part of the broader GOAL initiative, aims to enhance educational opportunities for girls and marginalized children aged 5 to 16 in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces of Pakistan. Through four key components—technical assistance, humanitarian assistance, financial aid, and service delivery—GOAL seeks to improve the inclusivity and quality of provincial education systems. The service delivery component specifically targets supporting at least 100,000 girls and marginalized children to enroll and remain in school, with an additional 150,000 girls supported to read by age 10.
2) Eligibility
The lead supply partner must be a registered charity (in any country) to apply.
3) Location
The programme operates exclusively in Pakistan, focusing on the provinces of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
4) Budget
This statement of requirement (SOR) will be awarded under an accountable grant agreement of up to £20 million.
5) Application
Interested organizations must ensure their applications comply with the requirements outlined in the Statement of Requirement (SOR) and submit them to saira.syed@fcdo.gov.uk by April 30, 2024. An Early Market Engagement (EME) session is scheduled for March 19, 2024, and organizations wishing to attend must RSVP by March 18, 2024.
