Description
1) Objective
USAID/Mali is inviting local actors to submit concepts that support USAID’s Country Development Cooperation Strategy (CDCS) development objectives in Mali. USAID will prioritize concept paper responses which focus on the following sectors: Peace, Democracy and Governance; Agriculture and Economic Growth; Health; and Education and Youth. Interested parties are requested to focus mostly on the component and corresponding objectives that they have the expertise.
USAID will work collaboratively with local partners to develop the technical approach, emphasizing the importance of reducing barriers to entry for new local partners. USAID/Mali intends to co-create one or more feasible and reasonable fixed-amount awards (FAAs) with local Malian entities for an award duration of 2 – 3 years, depending on the activity’s objectives. Concepts will be considered for awards at a minimum of USD 250,000 and upwards.
2) Eligibility
Eligible applicants are restricted to local entities in Mali. This includes local organizations with the capacity and expertise to address the specified sectors and objectives.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Mali.
4) Budget
The program offers a total funding opportunity with awards ranging from a minimum of $250,000 to a maximum of $1,500,000. USAID/Mali plans to distribute up to 12 awards, depending on the quality and feasibility of the concept papers received.
5) Application
Interested local entities must submit their concept papers by August 16, 2024.
