Description
1) Objective
Within the more general framework of the international mobility of artists and cultural operators, the Fanak Fund offers a line of funding for support for structuring and intended to reinforce artistic or cultural structures or collectives of artists from the Middle Arabic-speaking world. – Orient (including Turkey and the Persian countries) at the origin of territorial projects (places, networks, platforms). The objective of this fund is to allow the anchoring of their activities in territories, to promote their sustainability and their networking.
Through its experts and its Board of Directors, the Fanak Fund will monitor the selected projects. The Fanak Fund and its partners thus wish to amplify and develop the benefit of the mobility grant and strengthen the financial autonomy of independent local cultural initiatives.
2) Eligibility
This fund is intended for structures, artists’ collectives or independent cultural managers based in the Arabic-speaking world of the Middle East who have been operating for at least two years.
3) Location
Actions can take place in Europe, Middle East and Arab speaking countries.
4) Budget
The grants awarded are limited to a maximum of €3,000 and can, if necessary, be integrated as co-funding. The allocated funds must be used within a maximum period of two years, unless derogation.
5) Application
Applications can be until 31 July 2021 via the online form which is provided on their website. Applications can be submitted in Arabic, English or French.
