Description
1) Objective
Fanak Fund manages a Fund for Artistic and Cultural Mobility in the Euro-Arab-speaking-Middle East region and from this region to the rest of the world. Artists and cultural operators living and working in Europe, the Arab-speaking world and the Middle East can apply if a call is open. Priority is given to mobility from the South and East of this region.
Fanak Fund received 128 applications for mobility grants following its call launched in July 2020, including 27 written in French, 41 in Arabic and 60 in English. 71 applications were considered eligible and evaluated by our independent and transdisciplinary Committee of Experts made up of 24 Culture and Arts professionals, women and men from Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. 15 beneficiaries were selected.
2) Eligibility
Eligible are artists and cultural operators. The mobility program supports journeys that bring about exchanges and future projects. The trip must allow networking, cooperation and exchange between professionals. The experience must contribute directly or indirectly to local cultural development. The project must demonstrate its continuity.
3) Location
Actions can take place in Europe, Middle East and Arab speaking countries.
