Mobility Fund

Description

1) Objective

Fanak Fund man­ages a Fund for Artis­tic and Cul­tur­al Mo­bil­i­ty in the Euro-Arab-speak­ing-Mid­dle East re­gion and from this re­gion to the rest of the world. Artists and cul­tur­al op­er­a­tors liv­ing and work­ing in Eu­rope, the Arab-speak­ing world and the Mid­dle East can ap­ply if a call is open. Pri­or­i­ty is giv­en to mo­bil­i­ty from the South and East of this re­gion.

Fanak Fund re­ceived 128 ap­pli­ca­tions for mo­bil­i­ty grants fol­low­ing its call launched in July 2020, in­clud­ing 27 writ­ten in French, 41 in Ara­bic and 60 in Eng­lish. 71 ap­pli­ca­tions were con­sid­ered el­i­gi­ble and eval­u­at­ed by our in­de­pen­dent and trans­dis­ci­pli­nary Com­mit­tee of Ex­perts made up of 24 Cul­ture and Arts pro­fes­sion­als, women and men from Eu­rope, North Africa and the Mid­dle East. 15 ben­e­fi­cia­ries were se­lect­ed.

2) Eligibility 

Eligible are artists and cultural operators. The mobility program supports journeys that bring about exchanges and future projects. The trip must allow networking, cooperation and exchange between professionals. The experience must contribute directly or indirectly to local cultural development. The project must demonstrate its continuity.

3) Location 

Actions can take place in Europe, Middle East and Arab speaking countries.

4) Budget

Grant sizes are not mentioned.
