Description
1) Objective
CEPF and Burung Indonesia, as regional implementation team for the hotspot, are accepting letters of inquiry (LOIs) from non-government organizations, community groups, Indigenous people’s organizations, women’s groups, private companies and other civil society organizations (CSOs) in relation to the eligible activities and geographies described below. This is the first of several large-grant and small-grant calls for proposals (CFP) that will be made public through 2023.
CEPF will award a single grant to an organization capable of training other non- government organizations, community groups and associations in:
1. Small-scale fishery management
2. Small-scale fishery institutional governance
3. Financial literacy in terms of small business management or the management of a fishers’ association
The work will be targeted at existing and potential CEPF partner grantees and the locations in which they work.
2) Eligibility
Eligible applicants non-government organizations, community groups, indigenous people’s organizations, women’s groups, private companies and other civil society organizations.
3) Location
Actions can take place in Indonesia.
4) Budget
Grants may range up to $75,000.
5) Application
Applicants must respond to the call via the ConservationGrants electronic portal. CEPF will not accept letters of inquiry via email or any other mechanism. The application deadline is 17 July 2021.
