Description

1) Objective

Network Grants contribute to the development of stronger and more inclusive movements advocating for sexual reproductive health and rights (SRHR). They ensure a movement is resourced and contribute to equitable and effective allocation of resources across a movement. The Network Grant from AmplifyChange aims to bolster and enhance movements advocating for sexual reproductive health and rights (SRHR). By providing financial support to civil society organizations, the grant ensures these movements are well-resourced, promoting equitable and effective resource allocation within the SRHR advocacy landscape. The grant seeks to foster stronger, more inclusive networks that can drive significant and sustainable changes, particularly focusing on priority themes such as Abortion, Violence, Youth, Stigma, and Access.

Additionally, it supports cross-cutting themes like Climate Justice, Pleasure, and Mental Health. The overarching goal is to enable collective actions that lead to long-term positive impacts, by supporting projects that increase SRHR awareness, improve access to SRHR resources, transform social norms, change policies, and build inclusive advocacy movements. AmplifyChange emphasizes the importance of collaborative efforts, inclusive leadership, community-building, and the sharing of best practices within the SRHR advocacy community.

2) Eligibility

To qualify, organizations must be registered and executing projects in one of AmplifyChange’s eligible countries, have a bank account, and maintain transparent governance structures. Applicants must submit their strategic plan, governance structure, results framework, and audited accounts for the past three years. Additionally, the annual value of the grant must not exceed 50% of the organization’s average annual expenditure over the past three years. Only one application per organization as the lead applicant is allowed, though they can be downstream partners on other applications.

3) Location

Actions must take place in selected countries in Sub-Saharan Africa and/or South Asia.

4) Budget

The grant amount ranges from GBP 225,000 to GBP 600,000, to be used over a period of 2 to 3 years. The funding is intended to support the development of robust and inclusive SRHR movements, ensuring effective advocacy and resource allocation within the supported projects.

5) Application

The application process begins with the submission of a concept note by 2 July. Successful applicants will then be invited to submit a full application.
