Description
1) Objective
The EU and Brazil are strategic partners that have committed to supporting the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, recognizing that it is an ambitious framework to address global, national and local challenges. The EU’s commitment to CSOs in Brazil is reflected in the rich history of dialogue and cooperation spanning over 30 years, in which the European Union has supported initiatives driven by civil society in the most diverse sectors and in all regions of Brazil.
This call for proposals contains three lots, namely:
- LOT 1: Working together for an inclusive, safe and sustainable digital future (CSO)
- LOT 2: Inclusive and sustainable urban mobility (CSO)
- LOT 3: Indigenous peoples’ rights (R&D)
2) Eligibility
In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must: (1) be a legal person and (2) be non-profit-making and (3) be a civil society organisation; and (4) be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Brazil.
4) Budget
The overall indicative amount made available under this call for proposals is €3,400,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum €650,000 and maximum €1,000,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum (65%) and maximum (95%) percentage of total eligible costs of the action.
5) Application
The full application together with the declaration by the lead applicant must be submitted online via PROSPECT. The deadline for the submission is 7 July 2025.
