Description
1) Objective
DAI’s objective is to make a lasting difference in the world by helping people improve their lives. They envision a world in which communities and societies become more prosperous, fairer and better governed, safer, healthier, and environmentally more sustainable. DAI is looking to build partnerships with other development firms and organizations so that they can deliver the highest quality solutions to clients and beneficiaries. They are always looking to expand their relationship with local development partners in countries across the globe.
They work in the following sectors: health, governance, economic development, governance, education, climate.
2) Eligibility
They are looking for the following partners: (1) small businesses: DAI is committed to using small and small disadvantaged businesses to provide technical assistance on their projects. They particularly welcome potential partners from any and all of the following categories: certified 8(a) Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDBs), including minority-owned small businesses; Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) small businesses; Woman-Owned Small Businesses (WOSBs); and Veteran-Owned (VOSBs) and Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs); and (2) local partners: they are always looking to expand their relationship with local development partners in countries across the globe as they know that local partners bring the different perspectives and deep on-the-ground knowledge that facilitate effective development work.
3) Location
They are working in over 150 countries worldwide.
4) Budget
If a partnership comes into life, budget discussions are done on an individual basis.
5) Application
Interested organisations can fill in the application form on their website anytime throughout the year. If they need the type of services or supplies, one of their business development or procurement specialists may contact the applicant to explore opportunities. If there is no immediate opportunity, they will retain the information until a relevant opportunity arises.
