Description
1) Objective
The Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB), U.S. Department of Labor (DOL, or the Department), announces the availability of approximately $4,000,000 total costs (subject to the availability of Federal funds) for one cooperative agreement to fund a technical assistance project in support of Mexican Labor Law and the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) with the objective to increase locally-led actions to collectively address child labor and forced labor in targeted municipalities in Mexico.
Any commercial, international, educational, or non-profit organization(s), including any faith-based, community-based, or public international organization(s) capable of successfully implementing a project to increase locally-led actions to collectively address child labor and forced labor in targeted municipalities in Mexico is eligible to apply.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Mexico. The project will work in one (1) state from each of the following groups: Group1 – Puebla, San Luis Potosí, Tabasco, Campeche; and Group 2 – Chiapas, Nayarit, Oaxaca, Veracruz, Yucatán, Quintana Roo.
4) Budget
The overall indicative amount made available under this call for proposals is $4,000,000. They want to issue one award.
