Public Diplomacy Mission Mexico FY25 Annual Program Statement

Description

1) Objective

U.S. Mission Mexico’s PDS invites proposals for programs that strengthen cultural ties and mutual understanding between the U.S. and Mexico through cultural, economic, educational, professional, and exchange programming that highlights shared values and promotes bilateral cooperation. All programs must include a U.S. cultural element, or connection with U.S. expert/s, organization/s, or institution/s in a specific field that will promote increased understanding of U.S. policies and perspectives. Programs that include multiple states and/or promote increased collaboration and networking between U.S. government program alumni are encouraged.

Priority Program Areas are:

• Business and Commerce
• Community Development
• Education
• Employment, Labor and Training
• Energy
• Environment
• Income Security and Social Services
• Law, Justice and Legal Services
• Regional Development
• Science and Technology and other Research and Development

2) Eligibility

U.S. and Mexican individuals, registered not-for-profit organizations, educational institutions, and governmental bodies are eligible. For-profit entities are ineligible. U.S. organizations must partner with a Mexican counterpart. Cost sharing is preferred but not mandatory.

3) Location

Actions must take place in Mexico.

4) Budget

The estimated total program funding is $300,000, with individual awards ranging from $10,000 to $75,000.

5) Application

Proposals must be submitted by 21 February 2025, adhering to guidelines outlined in the Annual Program Statement.
