Description
1) Objective
UNICEF Moldova’s project, part of the EU4Moldova: Focal Regions Programme, aims to enhance the quality of inclusive education in Cahul and Ungheni. The project’s main goal is to improve educational services for children at pre-primary and primary levels, including those with special education needs (SEN), by providing necessary didactical materials and strengthening the network of local mentors on formative assessment.
The initiative includes monitoring and technical assistance for mentor networks, assessing formative assessment implementation in educational institutions, and providing didactical and learning materials. It also focuses on capacitating teachers for inclusive classroom practices and experiential learning projects.
2) Eligibility
Local NGOs with relevant experience in the education sector, particularly in implementing inclusive education practices and working with children with special education needs, are eligible to apply.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Thailand.
4) Budget
The indicative budget for the project is 100,000$. The selection criteria include cost-effectiveness, with an emphasis on the efficient use of funds.
5) Application
The deadline for clarification requests is December 15, 2023, and the application deadline is December 20, 2023. Notification of results will be on January 12, 2024, with the project start date on February 1, 2024, and end date on October 31, 2024.
