1) Objective

In cooperation with the Ministry of Interior General Directorate of Civil Society Relations and TÜBİTAK, the call for “Civil Society Research” was opened within the scope of the “3005-Innovative Solutions in Social and Human Sciences Research Projects Support Program”. Within the scope of the Twelfth Development Plan, which will cover the years 2024-2028, the Specialization Commission of Non-Governmental Organizations in the Development Process was established and the civil society field was considered as an independent topic again; “It is the main goal of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to play an active role in the planning, construction, monitoring and supervision stages of public policies, ensuring the creation of a democratic, participatory, inclusive, accountable and non-governmental structure with high awareness of cooperation, compliance and active citizenship.” policies and measures are included under the goal.

In line with the relevant goal, a special call titled “Civil Society Research” was opened in cooperation with the General Directorate of Civil Society Relations of the Ministry of Interior and TÜBİTAK in order to develop academic knowledge in the field of civil society in order to provide scientific inputs to the development processes of public policies and to support research that produce guide and innovative solutions that can be applied to both the civil society sector and the public sector.

Eligible applicants include nonprofits.

3) Location

Actions must take place in Turkey.

4) Budget

The grant size is not known.

5) Application

The deadline for the completion of the online application is September 30, 2024 at 23.59, and the deadline for the electronic signature procedures of the projects whose online application has been completed is October 4, 2024 at 23.59.
