Description
1) Objective
Charity Pot supports grassroots groups in the area of:
- In the field of animal welfare, these are primarily projects and campaigns that generally promote awareness of today’s grievances in dealing with living beings. They are against the exploitation and use of animals in any form and therefore cannot support agricultural projects that include animal use.
- In the field of environmental protection, they prefer projects that get to the bottom of the fundamental causes of massive environmental destruction and strive to promote projects, actions and campaigns that want to stop and reverse the current destruction.They also support projects that promote solutions to problems in this area, for example in the field of sustainable mobility.
- They want a society of solidarity that is free of discrimination or exploitation of any form, which is why our focus in the field of human rights and humanitarian aid is also primarily on fundamental human rights violations and projects that promote positive social development for all.
2) Eligibility
As a rule, they direct their financial support to small organizations, grassroots and protest groups, citizens’ initiatives and campaigns that are dedicated to fundamental concerns. Small, local projects have great potential to really make a difference, but often their resources are severely limited, the annual income is low and their financing is unsecured.
3) Location
Actions can take place worldwide.
4) Budget
They support projects with an amount of €100 to €5,000 in achieving their goals. Most of the groups we support have an annual income of well below €100,000 and are usually run purely on a voluntary basis.
