Description
1) Objective
The German Embassy has an annual fund to support about 5-10 micro- technical cooperation projects, mainly projects to improve the living conditions of the poorest people. These must be social projects, usually of an educational and / or environmental nature, endorsed by associations or non-profit institutions. Priority should be given to issues related to training, the improvement of conditions of life and of the patrimonial situation of groups of people not privileged. It must cover priority issues related to training, improving living conditions and the financial position of underprivileged groups of people.
One of the essential objectives of this grant is to promote self-sustenance of the enterprise, ie not dependent on external financing for its continuity, so its total funding should be secured beforehand. The Embassy does not assume the entire cost of a project; it must have its own resources provided by the responsible entity. Preference is grated to social projects, usually educational in nature or the environment, backed by associations or non-profit institutions.
2) Eligibility
Qualified organizations (NGOs , local authorities, churches, etc) are eligible.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Argentina.
4) Budget
The German government subsidy may not exceed the equivalent of €25,000. The project should be initiated and completed within the year of grant award. The Embassy supports approximately 5 to 10 projects per calendar year.
5) Application
The application for promotion of the project should enter the embassy between mid-December to by 15 January of each year and must be signed by two people responsible.
