Description
1) Objective
This call has two lots:
- LOT 1: “Social Assistance to Refugees and Asylum-Seekers in Tajikistan” Project UNHCR opened its representation in the Republic of Tajikistan in 1993. The Republic of Tajikistan hosts the largest number of Forcibly Displaced Population (Hereinafter – FDP) in Central Asia — primarily from neighboring Afghanistan.
- LOT 2: “Reduction and Prevention of Statelessness in Tajikistan” Project UNHCR has a global mandate to prevent and reduce statelessness and to protect the rights of stateless people. In Tajikistan, UNHCR supports the Government’s efforts to prevent statelessness and resolve existing cases of stateless people, people at risk of statelessness and those of undetermined nationality (collectively referred to hereafter as ‘stateless people’).
2) Eligibility
Eligible are NGOs with experience in the sector and country.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Tajikistan.
4) Budget
The grant size is $500,000.
5) Application
The application deadline is 3 November 2024. A concept note must be submitted via the online application portal.
