Description
1)Objective
Sage Foundation is committed to ensuring as many eligible non-profit organizations benefit from Sage Business Cloud donations as possible. They want to support charities, social enterprises and non-profit organizations like we do any other business. Re-imagining business is not about playing catch up, it’s about leapfrogging the competition. Too often businesses make decisions based on what’s in the rear view mirror, rather than the headlights. They combine social, mobile, real-time technology to put live information at your fingertips so you can make fast, informed decisions.
Their program “Product Donations” is supporting NGOs with software donations: (1) accounting software; (2) financial software; (3) enterprise management; and (4) HR and people solution.
2) Eligibility
Eligibility varies by country but in general they support: non-governmental organisations (NGOs), associations, foundations, Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), private non-enterprise institutions, nonprofit legal entities, religious institutions, etc. On top organisations must: (1) be in good standing in your country; (2) registered with the local TechSoup partner; (3) deliver programs that are aligned to Sage Foundation’s core vision: “We envision a world where all people and communities thrive because they are living with economic stability and social equality.”
3) Location
Actions must take place in the countries in which they operate: Angola, Argentina, Bahrain, Benin, Botswana, Brazil, Cameroon, China, Czech Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Hungary, Iraq, Ivory Coast, Jordan, Kenya, Kuwait, Lesotho, Malawi, Malaysia, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Oman, Poland, Qatar, Romania, Russian Federation, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Slovakia, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, Uganda, United Arab Emirates, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
4) Budget
They offer a certain discount on each of their products (20%-50%).
5) Application
Applications can be submitted anytime throughout the year via their online form. They will be in touch to confirm if your organisation is eligible or request supporting documentation.
