Description

1) Objective

The global objective of this call for proposals is: Women, men, girls and boys, in all their diversity, are free from all forms of gender-based violence in public spheres, the work place and online. The specific objective(s) of this call for proposals is: To strengthen the prevention and the response to sexual and gender-based violence at the public and workplaces.

The priorities of this call for proposals are:
1. Prevention of and protection from all forms of sexual and gender-based violence in the public spheres, in the work place and online through legislation and effective enforcement.
2. System strengthening and safeguarding approach to respond to all forms of gender-based violence, including sexual harassment and bullying, in educational institutions, workplaces and the transport sector.
3. Civil society, workers and young people are agents of change to transform discriminatory social norms and gender stereotypes that perpetuate gender inequality and gender-based violence.

2) Eligibility

In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must: (1) be a legal person and (2) be non-profit making; and (3) be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.

3) Location

Actions must take place in Bangladesh.

4) Budget

The overall indicative amount made available under this call for proposals is €4,800,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum €4,700,000 and maximum €4,800,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum (95%) and maximum (95%) percentage of total eligible costs of the action.

5) Application

The concept note together with the declaration by the lead applicant must be submitted online via PROSPECT. The deadline for the submission is 20 March 2024.
