Description
1) Objective
This call for proposals is divided into two lots. The overall objective of this call for proposals is: To strengthen CSOs as independent actors in good governance and development
- Lot 1 – Youth: Address the main challenges facing young people in Guinea-Bissau by supporting projects led by youth civil society organizations (CSOs) and strengthening their technical capacities and political advocacy.
- LOT 2 – Green and Inclusive Bijagós: To strengthen the capacities of local civil society organizations (CSOs) in the Bijagós Islands to position them as key actors in sustainable development, by promoting their engagement in the green and blue economy and in local governance.
2) Eligibility
Eligible organisations are: (1) non-profit-making; (2) be a non-governmental organization such as non-governmental organization, public sector operator, local authority and; (3) and be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Guinea-Bissau.
4) Budget
The overall indicative amount made available under this call for proposals is €3,064,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum €999,000 and maximum €2,064,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum (50%) and maximum (95%) percentage of total eligible costs of the action.
5) Application
The concept note together with the declaration by the lead applicant must be submitted online via PROSPECT. The deadline for the submission is 10June 2025.
