Description
1) Objective
The Linked Foundation’s mission is to promote and invest in solutions that improve the health and economic self-reliance of women and their families in Latin America. The Foundation therefore invests in technical and financial resources to develop and scale social enterprises to improve community health throughout the continent. They focus on women, as they are important agents of change as health and economic decision-makers. The Foundation has the following investment criteria: women, health, Latin America, impact, scalable, sustainable, and shared learning.
2) Eligibility
Eligible for investment are social enterprises and non-profit organisations interested in strategic long-term partnerships.
3) Location
They invest in developing and refining solutions that have the potential to be scaled throughout Latin America particularly those that include corporate partners.
4) Budget
They often engage in a “blended capital” approach, co-investing with partner organizations in the form of grants, debt financing and technical assistance to catalyze growth and social impact. Grants range up to $100,000 per year.
