Description
1) Objective
The main aim of the project is to contribute to the creation of adequate reception standards; appropriate inclusion support for forcibly displaced and stateless persons, and promote community engagement. Specifically, the selected Partner, working closely with UNHCR, in support and coordination with the relevant state authorities, will:
- Ensure the support of social workers to forcibly displaced and stateless persons in accommodation facilities provided by the state (i.e. asylum centre Spuz, asylum centre Bozaj, Hotel Sato), with a focus on persons with specific needs. Support to forcibly displaced and stateless persons residing in private accommodation will be provided exceptionally, in case of their vulnerability.
- Organize individual support and community-based activities that will improve access to basic socio-economic rights, primarily elementary education for children at the elementary school age, health care, employment and social care.
- Organize community-based activities to enhance self-reliance of forcibly displaced and stateless persons and their mainstreaming in the hosting society, as well as to strengthen support mechanisms at community level. Establish cooperation with traditional and non-traditional partners (e.g. civil society organizations, refugee led organization, local communities, municipalities, private partners, etc.) to improve well-being of forcibly displaced and stateless persons in specific micro-locations.
- Closely collaborate with UNHCR and UNHCR implementing partners on all issues of interest for forcibly displaced and stateless persons.
