Description
1) Objective
The global objective of this call for proposals is to support media organisations and media associations in their contribution to the implementation and monitoring of the Media Strategy of Serbia, aiming at strengthening freedom of expression and ensuring media quality and plurality.
The specific objective of this call for proposals is: to support innovative activities of media organisations and associations in Serbia to ensure the implementation of the National Media Strategy and address the needs of the media sector, as well as to improve access to evidence based and quality content and hence
2) Eligibility
In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must: (1) be a legal person and (2) be non-profit-making and (3) be a specific type of organisation such as print/electronic/on-line media, radio or television channel, media organisation, news agency, media production house or media association.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Serbia.
4) Budget
The overall indicative amount made available under this call for proposals is €1,000,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum €250,000 and maximum €500,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum (65%) and maximum (95%) percentage of total eligible costs of the action.
5) Application
The concept note together with the declaration by the lead applicant must be submitted online via PROSPECT. The deadline for the submission is 26 April 2024.
