Description
1) Objective
The global objective of this call for proposals is to support civil society action for women, men, girls, and boys, in all their diversity to fully enjoy and exercise their equal economic, labour and social rights in Timor-Leste. The specific objective of this call for proposals is that Timorese women, particularly the most vulnerable, in all their diversity have improved access to entrepreneurship opportunities, including social entrepreneurships, alternative livelihoods, strengthened participation in the green, circular economy, and strengthened their voice and agency.
The priorities of this call for proposals focus on three domains: women’s access to economic assets, services and opportunities; enabling environment; and women’s voice and agency.
2) Eligibility
In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must: (1) be a legal person and (2) be non-profit-making: civil society organisation (CSO) and its associations and (3) be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Timor-Leste.
4) Budget
The overall indicative amount made available under this call for proposals is €1,500,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum €1,500,000 and maximum €1,500,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum (70%) and maximum (90%) percentage of total eligible costs of the action. The initial planned duration of an action may not be lower than 24 months nor exceed 36 months.
5) Application
The concept note together with the declaration by the lead applicant must be submitted online via PROSPECT. The deadline for the submission is 27 October 2022.
